“As an experienced horse rider I am always quite nervous of booking horse riding trips on holiday - if the horses are not in good condition it would be so upsetting it would ruin my trip. No such concern at Chundukwa! Beautifully turned out horses and (from my experience) the happiest looking horses in Africa. I was met with fresh coffee and rusks before we set out early to avoid the later midday heat, We rode just myself and 2 guides through the teak forests and local villages, we tracked elephant prints and rode down and through the Zambezi, plenty of trotting and cantering and really interesting information from the guides on the local eco-system and culture. Couldn't have wished for a better experience on a half day ride from Livingstone. If you are a beginner you will be thoroughly looked after by this clearly very experienced team of horseman/women who clearly care very much for their horses.
