At Chundukwa River Lodge, participants will stay in a comfortable ensuite room called Otter House, complete with a kitchen area.

Depending on availability, participants may be asked to share the room with one other same-sex person on a twin-bed basis.

Chundukwa River Lodge will provide participants with all meals daily. Tea, coffee and mineral drinking water are freely available.

Support Duties: Participants will assist with general horse care, stable maintenance and day-to-day camp operations while guests are in camp. This is a hands-on experience and a wonderful opportunity to be involved in the daily rhythm of a working safari horse camp.

Accommodation: You will stay in our Guide Tent, which is simple but comfortable. The tent is equipped with twin beds, bedside lighting, and power points, with shared bathroom facilities. The bathroom is shared with senior management (Doug, Gail, and Fred). The guide tents are located in a shaded, beautiful area overlooking the horses. Depending on availability, participants may occasionally share the tent with one other same-sex participant on a twin-bed basis.

Self-Sufficiency: When there are no guests in camp and our chef is offsite, participants should be comfortable preparing simple meals. Food supplies will be provided, and our small container kitchen will be available for use during these times.

Guidance and Supervision: Throughout your stay, you will always be accompanied by either Doug or Fred, who will provide guidance, mentorship, and ensure safety during activities.

Participants will be busy 6 days a week, with one day off to explore the wonders of Livingstone, Victoria Falls, and the surrounding areas. You will have the opportunity to visit Victoria Falls with our guide and driver for a day – explore Livingstone town and meet the locals. There’s a lot to do and see in our area - and Livingstone has a thriving community, with many events and experiences on offer.

During the winter months, don’t be surprised to see elephants wandering through the property - a magical and unforgettable experience!

• Excursions beyond Chundukwa River Lodge - you may also want to visit Zimbabwe and Victoria Falls Town, or pop across to Chobe National Park to see the big five or do a Walking Safari in the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park to see the magnificent white rhinos

• Soft drinks and any additional beverages or items not specified above
