WHAT TO BRING

Chundukwa Lodge is located in a malarial region-we recommend that you see your doctor 1 month prior to travelling for a prescription of prophylactics. The use of mosquito repellent during your stay is also strongly advised. Wearing long-sleeved tops and trousers in the evenings will also help protect against mosquito bites.

Guests are also advised to bring plenty of sunscreen (especially when white water rafting), sunglasses, a hat, comfortable shoes for game walks and rafters and a w/proof bag for cameras, etc. when viewing the Falls.

Summer (Sept.-April) with October being very hot. Rainy season runs from Nov.-April, a light raincoat may be useful.
Winter   (May-August) warm clothes including an anorak for early morning trips or evenings around the fire.
Glasses for those who wear contacts as dust may irritate eyes.
