Mukay Village is home to most of our team at the lodge and has about 300 residents in total.
Levy, our head waiter, is very happy to show guests around the Village and impart some local knowledge on their building techniques, cuisine, traditions and of course the local brew!
The funds raised from the tour go back to the village and have already enabled us to bring a reliable supply of water into the village with help from our neighbours.
Many of our guests consider the Village visit a highlight of their African trip due to the warmth of the people they meet, especially the giggling children☺
